FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is SignalX?+
SignalX is an AI-powered SEC filing intelligence platform. It collects every 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 13F-HR, Form 4, and SC 13D/G filing from SEC EDGAR (and 사업보고서, 분기보고서, 주요사항보고서 from Korea's DART in beta), parses them into structured data, and generates section-by-section AI summaries grounded in the source text.
How fast does SignalX index new filings?+
Filings appear in SignalX within seconds of being submitted to SEC EDGAR. The pipeline polls EDGAR continuously and runs discover → download → parse → store in real time. AI summaries are generated on-demand when you click "Analyze" and typically complete in under 10 seconds.
Are the AI summaries accurate?+
Summaries are generated by Claude Sonnet (with GPT-4.1-mini as fallback) using strict grounding rules: only numbers and claims that appear in the source text are allowed, no hallucinated padding. Each bullet cites the section it came from. We've tuned the prompts to favor accuracy over fluency — they read like analyst notes, not marketing copy.
What filing types are covered?+
United States (SEC EDGAR): 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 20-F, 6-K, 13F-HR, Form 4 (insider transactions), and SC 13D/G (activist/passive >5% stakes). Korea (DART, beta): 사업보고서 (annual), 분기보고서 (quarterly), 주요사항보고서 (material events).
Is SignalX free?+
Yes — the free tier includes 5 AI queries per month, full access to filing tables and stock pages, and the public screeners. Pro ($X/month) unlocks 150 queries, CSV export, and cross-fund signal detection. Premium adds 500 queries and priority support.
How is SignalX different from Bloomberg or Sentieo?+
Bloomberg and Sentieo are general-purpose terminals priced for institutions. SignalX is specifically for SEC and DART filings — narrower scope, much lower price, and the AI summary layer is built for retail and emerging-fund users who don't have $24K/year for a terminal seat.
Can I export the data?+
Yes. Pro users can export filing lists, insider transactions, holdings, and screener results as CSV with a single click. The CSV is BOM-encoded for Excel compatibility.
